Seafox 4
The Seafox 4 is a six-legged, self-elevating accommodation, maintenance and (well) workover unit. The unit was built in 1976 to American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) classification requirements and is capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions offshore for operations throughout the year in water depths of up to 46 metres, depending on local seabed conditions.

Originally designed as a Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU), the Seafox 4 was redesigned and converted to its present state in early 1991. At that time the drilling package was removed, accommodation spaces were refurbished and enlarged and a new helicopter deck was fitted, thus creating a wider flexibility in practical terms.

The Seafox 4 serves a large range of offshore requirements, which include: monopile installation; well services; sub sea well intervention and platform upgrade campaign support.

The accommodation is of a high standard and the various leisure facilities include a cinema, recreational and fitness rooms. The mess room and galley can cater for up to 85 people at one sitting. Other onboard amenities include locker rooms, laundry, offices and hospital facilities.
