Workfox B.V. is the exclusive manager for the Seafox fleet and currently operates five jack-up accommodation platforms. Currently the Seafox 5 is being build in Singapore to arrive in Q3-2012, therefore Workfox is looking for permanent crew members.

Job Requirements:

• In possession of a valid certificate of competence
• Heavy Lift Experience on Offshore Vessels / Jack-Up Platforms (Crane experience)
• LOLER knowledge/ Experience
• Valid STCW ’95 / Offshore Certificates
• Master in English in all aspects
• Ex- Crane Operator

Job Tasks:

• The Bosun/Deck Foreman/ Lifting Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the activities on deck (including helideck) and supply boat operations, including use of required equipment, and maintenance of fire fighting and safety equipment as directed by the OIM and in liaison with the Chief Engineer.
• Being familiarised with the unitV and its operations.
• Minor maintenance of fabric and deck equipment.
• Overall housekeeping on deck areas.
• Registration of deck loads any additional weights in liaison with the OIM/ Captain/ DPO
• Implementation of the permit to work system for deck and associated work in consultation with the OIM/ Captain/ DPO.
• Handling supply boats and associated work.
• Weekly cranes inspections.
• Operate the crane(s) in absence or disability of the Crane Driver.
• Certification and colour coding of lifting gear.
• Liaison with the Chief Engineer in matters regarding maintenance or store requirements. Maintaining sufficient paint stock.
• Regularly inspecting the adequacy of all fire fighting and life saving equipment in accordance with current legislation and checklists, and report on any deficiencies found in any special safety equipment (i.e. BA sets, gas detectors, O2 meters) to prevent unsafe working conditions.
• Advising the OIM/Captain/DPO of any inadequacies in the standards of health and safety which may affect personnel and assist in rectifying them.
• Maintain watch during rig move as directed by the OIM/Captain/DPO
• Maintain discipline amongst the deck crew.
